Publisher: Playstack
What I Paid: GamePass
Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it.
What I Say:
Look at and examine the images carefully. Read the text carefully. Slowly unravel the mystery of the Golden Idol. The graphics may not be state of the art, but the puzzling sure is hard work (in a fun way). Essentially you need to fill in the blanks to work out the nefarious course of events demonstrated by the various scenarios. There is an over-arching theme surrounding a Golden Idol, but there is much deceit and treachery afoot for you to untangle before you get the complete picture of what has happened.
Hints are available, but the game STRONGLY discourages you from using them. I was tempted several times, but a break from the game and some further thought meant that I was able to solve all puzzles without help (both inbuilt and online).
