Around the World 2: Travel to Canada Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $3.75 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: Around The World 2: Travel to Canada is the sequel to the previously reviewed Around The World: Travel to Brazil. As such, apart from the locations, it is pretty much exactly the same gameplay-wise: a mix of hidden object screens…

Around The World: Travel To Brazil Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $1.50 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: Developed by AVI Games, this Hidden Object game (there is no Adventure component to this game) sees you finding hidden objects in a variety of Brazilian scenes. There is considerable variety in the types of hidden objects to find, from…

Hentai Gallery: Cute Girls (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: 17Studio What I Paid: $6.00 Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. Very Short. What I Say: I’ve noticed more and more “Hentai” titles appearing in the Nintendo Switch eShop lately. Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Artifex Mundi What I Paid: $2.25 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: As I was playing this HOPA (Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure) from Artifex Mundi I got the distinct impression that it was one of their earlier efforts: many of the bells and whistles of their later releases were missing, there was…

Story of Abandoned School – Silent Escape Horror (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Testagamercreations What I Paid: $1.50 Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. Made by Unity Logo. What I Say: The “Made by Unity” logo at game start-up and the publisher name – Testagamercreations – sum this game up succinctly. This is more like someone’s first attempts at creation with the Unity engine than an actual game worth…

Acrylic Nails!: Complete Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: QubicGames What I Paid: $2.10 (Acrylic Nails!, Spooky Painting DLC, Winter Marble DLC) Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: A while ago I reviewed Dentist Bling: Complete Edition and deemed it shovelware. Acrylic Nails!: Complete Edition is essentially the same except instead of teeth being the central theme, fingernails are. In case it…

Publisher: Asylum Square Interactive What I Paid: $1.50 Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: Aaron – The Little Detective is a basic Hidden Object game targeted at children. 12 screens hide a varying assortment of 9 objects, a surprising number of which are hidden behind the object list. The game is voiced and completing…

2048 Colorful (XBox Series X)
Publisher: LVF Studios What I Paid: $1.45 Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: When my XBox was almost brand new, I would occasionally take a look in the Store. This title would often feature as a 90% discount title. I ignored it for a while, but eventually succumbed and bought it. Back then I…

Twin Mind: Nobody’s Here Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $5.62 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. Game-breaking bug. What I Say: The murder of a scientist sees our non-identical twin detectives visit many, many locations (this is a relatively long game), play many, many mini-games and solve many, many varied hidden object puzzles to get to the final denouement.…
