Story of Abandoned School – Silent Escape Horror (Nintendo Switch 2)

Publisher: Testagamercreations

What I Paid: $1.50

Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. Made by Unity Logo.

What I Say:

The “Made by Unity” logo at game start-up and the publisher name – Testagamercreations – sum this game up succinctly. This is more like someone’s first attempts at creation with the Unity engine than an actual game worth paying for.

The premise is that you are exploring an abandoned school where unspeakably evil things have happened. You explore two buildings, finding notes and keys to progress. A small number of simplistic “bosses” need killing before you encounter the final boss.

The low resolution and low effort graphics are obfuscated (not very successfully) by fog effects and some jump scares. Most of the environment cannot be explored and as far as I can tell there is only one ending which is inherently unsatisfying.

What They Say:

An Abandoned School where children used to study and teachers used to work, has become a local nightmare for local residents, every local resident knows that you can’t visit this place and even approach it, strange things happened there in the past and to this day, everyone who approaches the school has disappeared unknown, but one day there was one brave man who decided to find out the truth and for his constantly tormenting nightmares.
