Around the World 2: Travel to Canada Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $3.75 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: Around The World 2: Travel to Canada is the sequel to the previously reviewed Around The World: Travel to Brazil. As such, apart from the locations, it is pretty much exactly the same gameplay-wise: a mix of hidden object screens…

Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $1.50 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: Developed by AVI Games, this Hidden Object game (there is no Adventure component to this game) sees you finding hidden objects in a variety of Brazilian scenes. There is considerable variety in the types of hidden objects to find, from…

99Moves (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Top Hat Studios What I Paid: $1.49 Verdict: Shovelware. What I Say: 99Moves is from the same publisher and developer as 99Seconds and the same comments [BRAAAK!] apply here. You have 99 changes in direction to avoid the fast-moving background [BLARPPPP!] and get to the end. I managed to complete the first mission before…

99Seconds (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: SuperPowerUpGames What I Paid: $1.49 Verdict: Shovelware. What I Say: 99Seconds is a fast-moving game where [BREEEP!] you try to avoid the on-screen [BLERK!] obstacles and [BRRAAAP!] collect bonus points and [BLAMMO!] and time extenders [BLEEP!]. It has the most [BLLAAARRK!] annoying and LOUD [BRAAAK!] collision noise I have ever come across [BREEEEEK!] in…

Hentai Gallery: Cute Girls (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: 17Studio What I Paid: $6.00 Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. Very Short. What I Say: I’ve noticed more and more “Hentai” titles appearing in the Nintendo Switch eShop lately. For a long time, these titles were anime-inspired, but lately lots of photorealistic titles have appeared. They follow a familiar pattern price wise, and soon end…

Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Artifex Mundi What I Paid: $2.25 Verdict: Not Shovelware. What I Say: Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala is the conclusion to the Enigmatis trilogy of HOPA (Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure) games. As such, the game mechanics are the most varied of the three games. I’m not sure if it is just me being…

Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Artifex Mundi What I Paid: $2.25 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: As I was playing this HOPA (Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure) from Artifex Mundi I got the distinct impression that it was one of their earlier efforts: many of the bells and whistles of their later releases were missing, there was…

Story of Abandoned School – Silent Escape Horror (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Testagamercreations What I Paid: $1.50 Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. Made by Unity Logo. What I Say: The “Made by Unity” logo at game start-up and the publisher name – Testagamercreations – sum this game up succinctly. This is more like someone’s first attempts at creation with the Unity engine than an actual game worth…

Mystery Box: Hidden Secrets (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $3.00 Verdict: Not Shovelware. Game-Breaking Bug. What I Say: Mystery Box: Hidden Secrets is the first in a series of puzzle games revolving around the concept of manipulating a box in 3D with puzzles on 3 of the faces of the box. A secondary objective is to find the…
