Around the World 2: Travel to Canada Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $3.75 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: Around The World 2: Travel to Canada is the sequel to the previously reviewed Around The World: Travel to Brazil. As such, apart from the locations, it is pretty much exactly the same gameplay-wise: a mix of hidden object screens…

Around The World: Travel To Brazil Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $1.50 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: Developed by AVI Games, this Hidden Object game (there is no Adventure component to this game) sees you finding hidden objects in a variety of Brazilian scenes. There is considerable variety in the types of hidden objects to find, from…

Mystery Box: Hidden Secrets (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $3.00 Verdict: Not Shovelware. Game-Breaking Bug. What I Say: Mystery Box: Hidden Secrets is the first in a series of puzzle games revolving around the concept of manipulating a box in 3D with puzzles on 3 of the faces of the box. A secondary objective is to find the…

Twin Mind: Murderous Jealousy Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $5.62 Verdict: Not Shovelware. Game Breaking Bug. Twin Mind: Nobody’s Here Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $5.62 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. Game-breaking bug. Stories in Glass: Winter (Nintendo Switch)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $3.75 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: This game is basically a series of jigsaw puzzles with a few twists: The game is Christmas-themed and replete with cloying Christmas instrumental tunes which do tend to wear thin as the game progresses. There are 5 different Christmas tales…

Big Adventure: Trip To Europe (Nintendo Switch)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $3.60 Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. What I Say: Big Adventure: Trip To Europe has spawned at least 5 sequels as of the time of writing this review, so clearly there is a market for hidden object games without a plot. I have previously reviewed Big Adventure: Trip To…

Connected Hearts: Fortune Play Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $5.62 Verdict: Not Shovelware. What I Say: The Good: This is a surprisingly meaty and lengthy hidden object game, almost rising to the level of a decent point and click adventure game. The story is captivating with you switching between the heroine and hero frequently to progress the story…

Big Adventure: Trip To Europe 4 Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $2.25 Verdict: Not Shovelware. What I Say: Ocean Media publish many Hidden Object games. This is but one of them. Clearly they must be popular, as the series goes up to at least 5. There’s really not much more to say about this game: you get what you expect,…

Twin Mind: Ghost Hunter Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch & Nintendo Switch 2)
Publisher: Ocean Media What I Paid: $4.50 Verdict: Not Shovelware. Game Breaking Bug. What I Say: Ocean Media publish a huge range and variety of Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure games. This title has some variants on their usual fare; the puzzles are harder than usual, some of the hidden object screens are quite difficult and…
