What I Say:
Around The World 2: Travel to Canada is the sequel to the previously reviewed Around The World: Travel to Brazil. As such, apart from the locations, it is pretty much exactly the same gameplay-wise: a mix of hidden object screens and mini-games.
There are a few differences: on the plus side the description of each scene pops up when you load the scene, giving a tiny bit more purpose to each screen. On the down side, clicking when the magnifier is active no longer registers. Also on the down side, you’ll need to complete the puzzles twice to accumulate enough “money” to buy all the souvenirs in the shop.
There is one Bonus mini-puzzle which was so difficult I eventually gave up on it and Skipped it, but otherwise this was completed without hints or guides. If you get truly stuck on what I will refer to as the electrical connections puzzle, here is a little bit of a hint: the initial setup of the screen shows one valid connection between blocks. These two blocks are both in the correct place.
