Verdict: Shovelware. 100%ed it. Very Short.
What I Say:
I’ve noticed more and more “Hentai” titles appearing in the Nintendo Switch eShop lately. For a long time, these titles were anime-inspired, but lately lots of photorealistic titles have appeared. They follow a familiar pattern price wise, and soon end up heavily discounted towards the bottom of the price range for the eShop. I paid $6.00 for this title which can now readily be had for $1.50. I decided I should finally take a look at one of these titles to actually see whether there was any value for money to be had here or whether this was just cash-grabbing shovelware.
Hentai Gallery: Cute Girls is 15 jigsaw puzzles increasing in size gradually from 3×3 to 10×10 by the end + some fairly stereotypical music for this genre. It took me about 2 hours to complete it and I very much doubt I’ll revisit this title ever again having dragged myself through it once. Unlike many of the anime-themed titles in this genre, exaggerated anatomy appears absent so the photorealistic images are at least pleasant to look at, albeit fleetingly and with no replay value. Of note, there are only 3 (cropped) screenshots in the eShop listing rather than the more typical 6 – I guess this is because otherwise there would be even less reason to buy this title. Those looking for “fap” material are best served elsewhere.
