Romeow: in the cracked world (Nintendo Switch)

Publisher: Silesia Games

What I Paid: $1.50

Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it.

What I Say: In this game, you guide a kitten through a series of ever-increasingly complex puzzles to get to your beloved ball of string. The exit from one segment of the screen will take you to another on-screen segment, not necessarily contiguous. As the levels progress, you need to find additional coloured objects to unlock sections of the screen in order to navigate to the ball of string. It’s quite simple as far as puzzle games go and you’ll have all 40 levels completed within a few hours. Not quite sure if it is targeted more at children, but I’m sure they’d like it.

What They Say:

Romeow: in the cracked world is a minimalist and charming puzzle game about a kitten who is too young to find the way by itself. He is just a kitten, he feels lost when he is without his favorite toy.

Go through the messy paths and take Romeow ‘s wool back so he can sleep in his cozy bed.

Features:

  • 40 hand-crafted levels with increasing complexity;
  • No score, no timer and no pressure;
  • Pleasant sound track;
  • Lovely art style.
