Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it (why?).
What I Say: I’ve played a small number of “hentai” games on the Switch. Mostly they are trivial games, the rewards of which are inevitably pictures of improbably proportioned women. Beauties Unveiled makes you work quite hard for your pictures. You move a snake-like floating head around the initially completely covered image, uncovering progressive blocks of the image, all the while avoiding increasingly tricky obstacles.
There are three goals per image; uncover 70% of the image, uncover 70% of the image without dying even once, and uncover 70% of the image within a time limit. The only additional bonus you get for completing all three tasks is a star rating (from 1 to 3), so you don’t have to complete all tasks to have full access to the images. For some sad obsessive reason, I felt obligated to 3-star all the levels.
Oh, and it’s also worth mentioning that the game gets upset if you start it up without an active internet connection even though there is no online component to the game.

To snatch the highest score, you will need reflex, quick decisions and a bit of luck.
