Publisher: REDDEER.GAMES
What I Paid: $8.98 (Base Game + all DLC)
Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it. SE Spamming.
What I Say:
One Night: Burlesque is a short but visually pleasant visual novel set in a burlesque club. You are a burlesque dancer with the unique ability to read peoples’ minds. You become aware that your friend Liz is to be killed that evening…but by whom…and how…remains for you to figure out.
There are three endings possible; with the very short running time of 1-2 hours it isn’t hard to play through three times to get all endings. Your choices matter less than the game implies.
There is a trivial drink mixing mini-game padding out the run time and post game you can look through the art books and solve sliding tile picture puzzles (depending on which DLC you purchase).
What They Say:
One Night: Burlesque offers one of a kind visual novel story with puzzle elements. Become a detective and solve the case of an upcoming murder mystery. Your hidden talent gives you an advantage over the killer so use it wise.
SPECIAL GIFT
Get into the high heels of Holly, a talented dancer graced with a unique gift of telepathy.
Delve into the minds of those around her and try to solve this captivating noir mystery. Uncover their hidden motives and unveil the truth. Be cautious; every mind holds secrets, and not all are willing to share them right away.
WHO IS THE KILLER?
The wannabe murderer might not be a butler, but he’s certainly in the audience. Navigate a labyrinth of tangled relationships and peel back the layers of deceit. The clock is ticking ominously, and every choice you make might decide the fate of your friends.
