Twin Mind: Murderous Jealousy Collector’s Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)

Publisher: Ocean Media

What I Paid: $5.62

Verdict: Not Shovelware. Game Breaking Bug.

What I Say:

This is a far-fetched hidden object puzzle adventure which on the surface has you solving the murder of an actress whilst she is on stage. Along the journey you uncover more and more bizarre scenarios and motives for the murder.

The game has lots of “moon logic” and several out-and-out bugs which decreases the enjoyment considerably. The bugs particularly affect the optional segments with one outright crash (trying to look at a book next to a model ship) and one segment-halting bug where you can no longer zoom in on a scene once a ladder is placed.

The mini-games are equally problematic with several solutions not “clicking” even though the puzzle alignment is perfect or the calculations are correct. Make sure you play in a mode where you are able to skip puzzles.

All-in-all I found this a chore to complete and was glad when it was finished.

What They Say:

Twin detectives Randall and Eleanor Jones share a passion for justice, but their methods couldn’t be more different.
He’s the logical, deductive type, while she uses a mystical approach,
but they’ll need to combine their skills when they’re called in to investigate an onstage murder at the local theater!
And once they dig into the victim’s past, they discover that nothing about this case is as simple as it seems!

The Collector’s Edition includes:
– Find hidden coins, morphing objects, and more to complete your collections!
– Replay your favorite hidden-object scenes and mini-games to unlock challenging achievements!
– Keep the case moving with a strategy guide!
