What I Say:
2048 Battles is a paid variant of an open source game created in 2014. The basic 2048 game is played on a 4×4 grid with the aim of adding numbers together until you reach 2048.
This version of 2048 expands on the original concept by including 3×3, 4×4 and 5×5 grids as well as multiple themed tilesets instead of just numbers. It also has a multiplayer mode (2, 4 or 8 players) which I did not explore.
The varied tilesets, backgrounds and music sustain the playability for longer than it would be otherwise, but about 1/2 of my playtime was spent grinding for the last achievement (earn 10,000 gold in total).
