Publisher: Hook Games
What I Paid: $1.50
Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it.
What I Say:
Kakurasu is a fairly minimalist maths puzzle game. The instructions are…brief. It took me quite a while of frustrating trial and error to figure out how the game actually played, but once I’d figured it out I got considerable enjoyment out of the 90 puzzles ranging from simplistic to very, very difficult. The harder 9×9 puzzles typically would take between 10 and 20 minutes to figure out and would require multiple iterations and methods of finding out certainties.
All-in-all, I probably spend 10-20 hours completing this puzzler, time which I mostly enjoyed.
