Publisher: Green Sauce Games
What I Paid: $3.00
Verdict: Not Shovelware.
What I Say:
The Lost Labyrinth is a match-3 type game. It is one of the harder ones I have tackled of late and it took me a very long time to complete all 120 levels (in Timed Expert mode – the hardest mode). I haven’t 3-starred all the levels, and I’m not sure that I will revisit this one any time soon to do so. Many of the levels, particularly the later ones, require very judicious use of the power-ups plus a healthy dose of luck to beat them.
The Lost Labyrinth has the dubious distinction of being one of the lamest stories I have ever read. You’re not missing anything if you skip the dialogue sections. In short, you’re dead (I think – I forget how it started when I started playing it ages ago) and in order to cheat death you have to gather the runestones of various creatures. Each runestone takes 10 levels to get back.
What They Say:
Enter The Lost Labyrinth, as Sophie awakes to find herself in an eerie and perilous place, crowded with mysterious creatures. Can Sophie overcome the dangers, and free the tormented creatures? Discover a breathtaking adventure through the many mazes of a cursed labyrinth. Explore its mysteries and secrets, and fight against the dangers that await those who dare to enter The Lost Labyrinth.
