What I Paid: $3.75
Verdict: Not Shovelware. 100%ed it.
What I Say:
This game is basically a series of jigsaw puzzles with a few twists:
- The jigsaw pieces are a simulacrum of stained glass window pieces. This makes working out where each piece goes much more difficult than usual.
- Once the jigsaw puzzle is complete, you are able to custom colour the individual “stained glass” pieces if you so desire.
The game is Christmas-themed and replete with cloying Christmas instrumental tunes which do tend to wear thin as the game progresses. There are 5 different Christmas tales with 8 puzzles within each tale to complete.
What They Say:
Step into the world of “Stories in Glass: Winter,” a unique puzzle game that combines the awe-inspiring beauty of stained-glass art with the heartwarming joy of Christmas.
Comprising 5 beautifully crafted books, each containing 8 meticulously designed levels, the game is your canvas for revealing the enchanting stories that winter has to tell.
Each completed puzzle not only satisfies your problem-solving cravings but also reveals a snippet of an overarching winter tale that brings depth and context to your gameplay experience.
